Hi! I'm Alisa Huffman, a licensed independent clinical social worker in Seattle, WA working with folks with trauma and dissociation using geek culture to help people tell their stories and cope with the world around us.

Illuminating the Journey is about highlighting how geek culture reflects mental health experiences of so many people, and how we can make these connections to relate to our own individual journeys.

I live with my two feline supervisors who love to help in telemedicine sessions, with my writing, and gaming adventures.
